Food Excellent Decor Excellent Service Excellent
Yummy homemade bread and exceptionally tasty sandwiches and soup. The service is wonderful. Everyone was full but my mother still wanted to try the bread pudding for dessert. We decided to skip because the majority of us were so full, but the waiter surprised us and brought a complimentary dessert on the house. Friendly staff and cozy environment. My stepdad said he'll have to eat here every time he visits Milwaukee.

Food Excellent Decor Excellent Service Very good
My favorite place for lunch. You can't beat the setting. I love to sit outside under the shady pergola and listen to birds, not traffic. The food: if you appreciate good bread, you'll really like theirs. The mixed greens on the salad were very fresh (didn't have that prepackaged taste). I liked the variety of off-the-beaten-path sandwiches. And the desserts were decadent. Not a huge menu, but everything I've ordered has been very good. At Jack's Cafe, expect a wait for service. They print that right on the menu. This is a place to enjoy a leisurely lunch in a beautiful setting. If you want to grab a quick bite to eat, go somewhere else.

A Waukesha hidden treasure...

With the limited restaurant hours and not much of a presence from the road, Jack's Cafe can be easily overlooked. But once you find it, you will wonder how you never heard of it or had never been there before. The grounds are beautiful and rustic. If you haven't been there - it's a must-see! Be sure to catch the pictures on the Photos page!
